Volunteers helping to track hummingbird migration across North America
Please keep reporting your observations. We welcome sightings of hummingbirds at all times of year, although the bulk of sightings come between the spring migration and fall, when monarchs head back to their winter habitat in Mexico and Central America.
If you aren't seeing any hummingbirds in your area, you can explore various Journey North hummingbird migration maps to learn where hummingbirds are being observed. The maps will especially give you a good idea of hummingbirds' progress north in the spring.
