Other species
What else does Journey North track?
The majority of Journey North's reports are of monarchs and hummingbirds, but we also track several other migratory species and phenological signs of the seasons.
These include:
- Oriole species, including Baltimore, Bullock's, Orchard, and Hooded Orioles
- Bald Eagles
- Common Loons and ice-out
- American Robins
- Red-winged Blackbirds
- Barn Swallows
Additionally, you can report all of your favorite signs of the seasons in our "Signs of Spring" or "Signs of Fall" categories. This can be anything that reminds you that the seasons are changing: the grass growing, flowers blooming, or anything else.
